Geek Mom

Why is that we usually only hear about "geek dad"? I know that's it's a new trend: dad's that game (both video and RPGs or table tops), computer builders and movie nerds, experimenters and star gazers.What about the geek moms?

Well, I know from experience that we're out there.

I am very easily what can be described as a geek. I love video games of many different types, on all platforms. I play Magic: the Gathering and Warhammer 40K as well as GURPS and DND. I'm an avid steam punk fan. and even make my own clothes. I love anime and cosplay. And very soon I will be a biologist on my long path to become a Marine Science major.

So I decided, hey, why not create a blog about just these things. Being a woman, being a geek, and altogether, how being a full time student as well as a stay at home mother surrounds my child with all my geeky glory.

I'm here to bring geek moms and geek dads together, alike, and all the geeks in general, just talking about what I know. And that's really all I can do.
